Alyssa Martinez is Booking Associate for Third Coast Percussion. Alyssa is an arts administrator with over a decade of experience working diverse roles within Chicago’s contemporary classical, jazz, improvised and experimental music scenes. She notably helped produce Pitchfork Music Festival and the new Sound & Gravity festival. She is development coordinator for presenter Constellation Performing Arts and worked as production and development coordinator for three time Grammy-nominated Spektral Quartet.

In addition to her production and administrative work she is a practicing interdisciplinary visual and social practice artist, poet, and facilitator releasing work under the name A.Martinez. Alyssa received her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago’s Writing Program and her work explores rituals, grief, ecology, and motherhood. She enjoys working with plants, walking around, and spending time with her kid exploring the world around them.
