The Chicago Humanities Festival presents a screening of Third Coast Percussion’s program Archetypes with Sérgio and Clarice Assad, plus a live panel discussion. Tickets are free with registration.
Third Coast is delighted to return to the Chicago Humanities Festival, to share its acclaimed collaborative program Archetypes with Sérgio and Clarice Assad. Archetypes now also exists as a film, which captures Third Coast performing the entire album in-studio. Join CHF for a film screening and conversation with Clarice Assad, Third Coast’s Executive Director David Skidmore and University of Chicago comparative literature professor Haun Saussy about the album’s fresh journey through familiar characters.
As part of a special “Welcome Back” campaign, all CHF events this weekend are FREE with registration. Click here for more information and to register for complimentary tickets.
David and Clarice will also join the podcast This Jungian Life for a special Archetypes-themed episode, which will stream live on October 28 at 7pm Central. Click here to learn more about the live podcast event.
