Francis W. Parker School CHICAGO CONCERT SEASON

TCP brings music from their Metamorphosis program to audiences at Francis W. Parker School in Chicago.

As the 9th Annual Visiting Music Scholar in Residence at Francis W. Parker School, Third Coast Percussion will work with students across all divisions, share their work in school assemblies, lead workshops for Parker percussion students and present an evening concert that will feature an eclectic mix of classic and contemporary composers.

This concert is free and open to the public.

Perspective by Jlin was commissioned for Third Coast Percussion by the Boulanger Initiative, the Maxine and Stuart Frankel Foundation, Carnegie Hall, the Lester & Hope Abelson Fund for the Performing Arts at the Chicago Community Foundation, the DEW Foundation, and Third Coast Percussion’s New Works Fund.

Sunny X was commissioned for Third Coast Percussion by the Sewanee Music Festival, George Mason University, and Carnegie Hall with additional support from Third Coast Percussion’s New Works Fund.

Third Coast Percussion’s 2025/2026 Chicago Season is generously supported by members of TCP’s Chicago Circle, and the Paul M. Angell Family Foundation.
