Millennium Park: The Bell Ringers world premiere! CHICAGO CONCERT SEASON

Join Third Coast Percussion and composer Danny Clay for the world premiere of The Bell Ringers, a new musical experience that brings communities together. This new evening-length work invites participation from performers of a wide range of experience levels—from professionals to novices. This performance will take place on Millennium Park's Pritzker lawn, with the audience moving freely throughout the space. The work draws influence from Clay’s use of the element of “play” and community-building in his works.

This performance is free and open to anyone! Click here to learn more about The Bell Ringers.

The Bell Ringers was commissioned by Third Coast Percussion with support from The Maxine and Stuart Frankel Foundation, the Meany Center for the Performing Arts at the University of Washington, the Julian Family Foundation, The Elizabeth F. Cheney Foundation, and the Third Coast Percussion New Works Fund. This project is supported in part by the National Endowment for The Arts.

This performance is partially supported by an ArtsSpace Grant from the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs & Special Events.
