Violinist Yvonne Lam joins Third Coast Percussion in a dynamic program featuring the music of GRAMMY® Award-winning composer/performer Jessie Montgomery. Montgomery’s new work for percussion ensemble is paired with Lou Harrison’s dynamic Concerto for Violin with Percussion Orchestra, with Lam as soloist. Rounding out the program are captivating new works by Tigran Hamasyan and Jlin.

Sonata for Percussion by Tigran Hamasyan was was commissioned for Third Coast Percussion’s 20th Anniversary by Elizabeth and Justus Schlichting and the Zell Family Foundation.

Lady Justice by Jessie Montgomery was commissioned for Third Coast Percussion by the Zell Family Foundation, Carnegie Hall, Hancher Auditorium at the University of Iowa, and Stanford Live, Stanford University.
