Rush Hour Concerts CHICAGO CONCERT SEASON

Doors open at 5:15pm; performance begins at 5:45

Each year, Third Coast Percussion presents 4-5 concerts of percussion music in their hometown of Chicago. In concert halls, theaters, and art galleries, the ensemble joins with world-renowned performers for programs that include premieres of new works for percussion alongside modern classic percussion music.

Third Coast Percussion returns to Rush Hour Concerts with a program of music composed for the ensemble by Chicago-based composers, including excerpts from Glenn Kotche's "Wild Sound" and Augusta Read Thomas's "Resounding Earth," and TCP member David Skidmore's newest work, "Trying."
