For over ten years\, the ensemble has forged a unique path in the musical landscape with virtuosic\, energetic performances that celebrate the extraordinary depth and breadth of musical possibilities in the world of percussion. \nThird Coast Percussion and Voice of Chicago will present the world premiere of Waterfall by CCC Alumnus and Composer In Residence W. Mitchell Owens III. \nJamila Woods\nCalled “a modern-day Renaissance woman” by the Chicago Sun-Times\, Jamila Woods (CCC alumnus) is a poet\, singer/songwriter and teaching artist born and raised on the South Side of Chicago.
