Where are you from?

East Amherst, NY

What is one thing about yourself that you want everyone to know?

Outside of playing percussion, I am really interested in visual art, dance, and 20th century history!

A link to something about you (website, video, post, etc.)

Here’s my YouTube channel! When I learn a large piece, I like to record it and post it here.

What are you up to these days?

I will be completing my senior year at the Eastman School of Music and applying to grad schools!!

When did you intern with TCP?

August 11-22, 2025

How did you connect with TCP?

Eastman’s Arts Leadership Program connected me with Sean! They also gave a performance and masterclass during my sophomore year, and my class got to work with them.

Did you gain anything from the internship that you’d like to share?

It takes a lot of time and energy to sustain an arts organization. I learned that thoughtful decision-making, clear communication, and detailed organization are necessary for maintaining a successful chamber ensemble.

What else did you do while you were interning?

Over the weekend, I visited Wicker Park and the Ravinia Festival, which was super awesome! I saw Sheku Kanneh-Mason with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and I got a pavilion student ticket 🙂

Did you leave a legacy or mark on the organization that you’re particularly proud of?

I certainly left my mark when I organized Dave’s music folder … he was very appreciative haha! I also hung up some posters around the office (including a very large one from their sold-out Carnegie Hall performance)!

Favorite memory?

The composer workshop with David Longstreth – I am a huge Dirty Projectors fan so it was cool to get to know him and observe his collaboration with TCP!

A GIF or YouTube link that sums up your experience with TCP?

If you were a cartoon character, who would you be?

I’ve been told that I look like Marcie from Peantus…

A funny or embarrassing story from the internship?

When I was recording video for the composer workshop, the phone-stabilizing gimbal was, well, not stabilizing the phone. The phone kept flipping and turning in lots of crazy ways. I had to ask Dave for help multiple times :’(

Our interns can experience every part of TCP’s organization, from visiting recording sessions to writing grants and everything in between. We accept interns almost year-round.
