Collaborating with Michael Burritt and the Eastman Percussion Ensemble, TCP presents a new album of Alejandro Viñao's works for percussion.
Michael Burritt has been championing the music of Alejandro Viñao since the members of Third Coast Percussion were his students at Northwestern University, and TCP is excited to release Burritt's recordings of Viñao’s music on their imprint, Rockwell Records. TCP is featured on Viñao's Estudios de Frontera (featuring Burritt as marimba soloist) and the Eastman Percussion Ensemble, led by Burritt, is featured on one of Viñao's latest works for percussion, entitled Water.
