Boulanger Initiative’s WoCo Fest 2020

Third Coast Percussion is honored to be the headlining act at the Boulanger Initiative's second annual WoCo Fest.

In their second annual celebration of International Women’s Day, the Boulanger Initiative presents WoCo Festival 2020 at Big Bear Cafe and All Souls Church on March 8th, 2020, with the theme of local action and grassroots.

The one-day festival will feature numerous composers, ensembles, and artists doing ground-breaking work towards gender equity in classical music, and the daytime festivities will highlight local performers and artists that are regularly empowering women-identifying composers.

The various performances, panel discussions, and professional development booths showcase the power of the music community, all leading up to the headlining act: Grammy-Award winning Third Coast Percussion performing the World Premiere of JLin’s “Perspective”, Boulanger Initiative’s first commissioning project.
